Hands Together to Deliver the Oppressed

In Pakistan, abandoned children survive on the streets or are forced to work from the age of 4 or 5. They are our brothers and sisters in the faith.

Your gift today helps give them safety, food, education and the means to build a future of dignity and hope.

Children in danger every day

Orphans are abandoned, mistreated and forced to beg or work in inhumane conditions to survive, in a country where Christians are severely oppressed.

Abandoned

Babies are rejected at birth, sometimes thrown in the garbage. Others are left alone on the streets, hungry and thirsty.

Exploited

Captured to be exploited, they work with no way out and no chance to go to school.

Forced to beg

To survive, they must beg or search for food in the garbage. Exposed to violence, gangs and abuse.

They are our little brothers and sisters in the faith. They know violence, fear and abandonment.

With love and compassion, help us give them the food they need, a safe refuge, tenderness and the hope they so badly need.

Who we are

A mission born from a calling

In 2025, a few Christians in Canada answered the same call from God: to help 40 persecuted orphans in Pakistan, whom a Pakistani Christian had taken in and was feeding with all his strength, despite his own persecution.

That is how the non-profit organization Hands Together (Mains Ensemble in French) was born.

Our team is 100% volunteer. Your gifts go directly to support the orphans in Pakistan, through our two native missionaries. We are in touch with them every week and receive financial reports from them with receipts, photos and videos.

Our mission

To rescue and protect persecuted Christian orphans and children who are abandoned, mistreated or exploited, by giving them a safe home, food, education and the tools they need to build an independent future, in dignity and hope.

We also support the most vulnerable persecuted Christians and widows through humanitarian aid, tools and education that help them become independent and take charge of their lives.

Orphanage building project in Faisalabad

Let's build the Refuge of Hope

Today, the orphans in our care live in two rented houses, in very precarious conditions:

  • Three to a small bed.
  • In summer, up to 122 °F in rooms with no windows or air conditioning, forcing the children to sleep outside.
  • No kitchen, no fridge, no clean water.
  • Threat of eviction: without a building, the orphanage is not legal. It has already happened.

We urgently need a suitable building. With no more room, we can no longer take in other orphans in danger and give them a safe refuge.

The “kitchen” is outside, with no roof: when it rains, it rains on the kitchen.

Our vision: build a refuge for at least 100 orphans

Over the years, hundreds of children will be rescued thanks to this refuge.

Nehemia's story

At 5 years old, Nehemia was rescued by our missionary. He had been abandoned on the street with his brother and sister, aged 2 and 3. He searched through garbage at a hospital entrance, living with hunger, thirst and fear.

Today Nehemia is 10. He is loved, fed and clothed. He is first in his class and received an award trophy.

What a beautiful story of redemption, one that gives hope!

Help us build the Refuge of Hope to house Nehemia and rescue other children like him.
